◆ 《인종-젠더분과》 연속포럼 개최
−인문한국플러스 <혐오시대, 인문학의 대응> 연구 사업단의 2차 년도 과제 목표인 ‘한국사회의 혐오 현상 분석과 대응’에 맞추어 인종-젠더분과는 한국사회에서 가장 시의적 쟁점을 연속 포럼을 통하여 다루고자 한다. 학술연구와 이론을 바탕으로 하되, 시의적 쟁점과 현실 문제에 한 걸음 더 다가가 현장의 운동가들, 대중들과 함께 문제를 고민하고 실천적 대응을 모색하는 장을 마련한다.
◆ 국제학술대회 <팬데믹 시대의 혐오-횡단인문학적 접근> 개최
−수년간 이어지고 있는 팬데믹 상황에서 인류는 감염병이 초래한 사회적 갈등, 경제적·정치적 불평등, 인권침해 등 초유의 문제에 직면해 있다. 더욱이 이와 함께 불거진 집단적인 공포와 불안은 사회적 소수자에 대한 심각한 혐오와 차별을 낳고 있다.
우리 인문한국플러스 <혐오시대, 인문학의 대응> 연구 사업단은 팬데믹의 고통과 슬픔을 넘어 그 이후를 바라보면서, 질병의 치료만큼이나 심각한 사회적 갈등도 치유되기를 희망한다. 이러한 취지에서 개최되는 2021 국제학술대회 <팬데믹 시대의 혐오-횡단인문학적 접근>은 학문 횡단적인 사고를 통해 코로나 팬데믹이 낳은 다양한 혐오 문제를 면밀하게 검토하고 나아가 그 해법을 모색하고자 한다.
